CHILDHOOD - Victoria was in ballet when she was little. Her nickname at school was "Sticky Vicky." She did well in all her exams. Always begged Dad to not drive her to school in their Rolls-Royce.

HOW SHE BECAME A SPICE GIRL - While in college, Victoria was briefly in another band. After completing the three-year course at Laine Arts, she answered an ad in The Stage magazine, which was looking for five girls who could sing and dance. Victoria was picked, and the rest is history.

At infant and junior school, Victoria excelled in at drama and dancing and loved appearing in the annual school pantomime. At 16, she pursued her dream of becoming famous and applied to train in theatre management at the Laine Arts Theatre College in Epsom, Surrey. She was accepted, and, after completing a three year course, she joined the cast of a small time touring musical company.
But her real ambition was to become a singer and when she saw an advert to join a pop group, she suddenly left the company. Vicki worked hard in this three women, two men band. But, just as they were poised to hit big, she made another sudden departure... to become a Spice Girl!!
